About the Role
Blue Crescent Schools is a prominent, co-educational private school located in the Mabera Area of Sokoto State, Nigeria. Established in 1996 by the late Hajiya Adama Raji, we provide a comprehensive educational pipeline spanning from early childhood education to senior secondary levels. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Financial Accounting Teacher to join our dedicated academic team and contribute to our tradition of educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Financial Accounting lessons to senior secondary students.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments.
- Monitor student academic progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) effectively into daily teaching and learning practices.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment that promotes academic and moral development.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Education, or a related relevant field.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Financial Accounting and secondary school curricula.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering both the academic and moral development of students.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work harmoniously within a diverse team.
- Proficiency in utilizing ICT tools for modern educational delivery.
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized secondary institution will be a strong added advantage.
