About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier human resources and technical support services provider in the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven IS Business Partner – Drilling & Wells to join our growing team. In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between information technology and business operations, ensuring that our Drilling & Wells function is supported by robust, efficient, and innovative IS solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of IS strategies, resource forecasts, plans, and departmental budgets.
- Provide expert business analysis and consultancy to identify operational needs and recommend tailored IS/IT solutions.
- Lead and coordinate comprehensive IS/IT projects from initial requirements gathering through to solution design, deployment, and integration.
- Collaborate with technical teams to guarantee high availability, maintenance, and support for critical business applications.
- Evaluate software acquisitions for enterprise compatibility and supervise application development and system interfaces.
- Enforce compliance with corporate IS policies, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and HSE guidelines.
- Act as the primary liaison between local stakeholders and HQ IS teams to champion digital transformation and future IT developments.
- Manage document archiving, shared-drive administration, access controls, and ongoing business process digitization.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (a Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 7 years of broad IT experience spanning development and support, or equivalent robust business experience with strong technical capabilities.
- Deep understanding of oil and gas operations, with specialized knowledge in Drilling & Wells processes.
- Extensive familiarity with current and emerging enterprise IS/IT solutions.
