About the Role
Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited (HHGCL) is a prominent information technology and management consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, specializing in digital transformation and innovative tech solutions for global multinationals and public sector organizations across Africa. We are currently seeking a talented and driven iOS Mobile Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of our flagship mobile banking application, ensuring top-tier security, optimal speed, and an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features seamlessly integrated with REST APIs.
- Implement robust security measures, including Keychain storage and Biometric Authentication, to protect sensitive financial data.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous unit testing and debugging.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and app performance.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation to support scalable mobile solutions.
- Bachelor Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower or HND with Upper Credit.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, iOS SDK, REST APIs, and Git version control.
- Demonstrated experience with Keychain implementation and Biometric Authentication.
- Prior experience in banking, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with published App Store applications, payment gateways, fraud detection systems, or Firebase will be an added advantage.
- Must be available for 100% onsite work at our Lagos office.
