About the Role
Emmanuel Bakeries Limited, an established leader in FMCG distribution in Kogi State with over 11 years of industry excellence, is seeking dedicated Invoicing Officers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless flow of financial operations by maintaining accurate sales records, verifying delivery documents, and collaborating closely with our sales and warehouse departments to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process accurate invoices for customers and sales transactions.
- Verify sales orders, delivery notes, receipts, and other supporting documents before invoicing.
- Ensure all invoices are properly recorded and submitted to the relevant departments and customers.
- Reconcile invoices with sales records and identify discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date invoicing records and documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and provide necessary information to the Accounts and Sales teams.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Accounts teams to ensure accurate billing.
- Ensure correct pricing, quantities, discounts, and customer details are reflected on invoices.
- Assist with daily sales and invoicing reports.
- Handle invoice corrections, cancellations, and adjustments as authorized.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper filing of financial and customer documents.
- Perform other invoicing and administrative duties assigned by management.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in invoicing, accounting, sales administration, or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Lokoja or any of our regional outstations.
