Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and comprehensive bank reconciliations.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and guide junior accounting team members to foster professional growth and operational accuracy.
- Prepare accurate month-end and year-end close reports, comprehensive budgets, and reliable revenue forecasts.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls to mitigate risks and prevent errors or fraud.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and collaborating during annual reviews.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA are an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated accounting or finance role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent understanding of Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and general accounting principles.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
