About the Role
Food Concepts Plc is a pioneer and market leader in the West African food sector, best known as the proud owner of Chicken Republic, the fastest-growing chicken QSR in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Investigation and Counter Fraud Manager to join our corporate team. In this strategic role, you will lead the charge in identifying, preventing, and mitigating risks associated with occupational fraud, revenue leakage, and professional misconduct, ensuring the highest standards of governance and asset protection across our dynamic operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage internal investigations regarding occupational fraud, theft, misconduct, and policy violations.
- Develop and implement robust fraud prevention and detection strategies, utilizing data analytics and forensic techniques.
- Identify and block revenue leakage points by reviewing sales processing applications, POS systems, and financial records.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Liaise with external forensic experts, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Design and deliver employee training and awareness programs on fraud prevention and ethical conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Criminology, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
- Membership in relevant bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Auditors of Nigeria (CIFIAN) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in fraud investigation, forensic accounting, and investigative auditing.
- Strong command of forensic analysis tools, legal standards, and litigation support procedures.
