Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and periodic reports.
  • Handle daily accounting operations, bank reconciliations, and transaction processing.
  • Monitor cash flow, track operating expenses, and evaluate budget performance.
  • Process vendor invoices, employee payments, and other critical financial transactions.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits as well as tax-related activities and filings.
  • Utilize industry-standard accounting software effectively for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc or HND qualification in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven professional accounting experience in a structured environment.
  • Mandatory possession of a recognized professional certification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards, auditing, and account reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
