About the Role

We are currently looking for a talented Accountant to join our vibrant team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our agency by overseeing daily accounting operations, conducting accurate financial reporting, and supporting management with insightful financial analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports in line with company policies.
- Process invoices, manage payments, and perform routine account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow patterns and actively assist management with budget preparation.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor all financial transactions for discrepancies.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and secure records for internal and external audits.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Accounting from a recognized private university.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial role.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software packages.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
