About the Role
Whispers Art Haus, a premium hospitality and lifestyle destination nestled in the heart of Maitama, Abuja, is expanding and seeking passionate, professional, and service-driven individuals to join our growing team as Inventory Officers. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate stock records, managing supplies, and supporting our fast-paced operations to deliver exceptional experiences to our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels for all operational supplies, food, beverages, and lifestyle assets.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with the digital inventory system.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Collaborate with procurement and department heads to forecast stock requirements and prevent shortages.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste, shrinkage, and loss.
- Maintain organized and secure storage facilities in compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
- Generate and submit periodic inventory reports to management for strategic decision-making.
- Proven relevant experience working as an Inventory Officer, Stock Controller, or in a similar administrative role within hospitality or retail.
- Strong work ethic, unwavering professionalism, and high levels of integrity.
- Ability to thrive and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
