We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Officer / Supervisor to join our dynamic operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, maintaining meticulous stock records, and ensuring seamless inventory flow to support business continuity and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing stock shipments accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive inventory records and update stock databases regularly.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.
- Supervise the proper storage, labeling, and systematic organization of goods in the warehouse.
- Coordinate closely with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
- Monitor stock thresholds and report potential shortages or variances ahead of time.
- Supervise, assign daily tasks to, and mentor junior inventory and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety standards, housekeeping guidelines, and company policies.
- Provide critical support during internal and external inventory audits.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using modern inventory management software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical capability, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
