About the Role
Fisem Integrated Services is a leading veterinary services provider involved in veterinary pharmaceutical production, laboratory diagnostic services, sales of livestock equipment, and farm consultancy. We are currently looking for a diligent and proactive Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Ibadan and ensure seamless stock management across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inventory movements in real time.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products against relevant purchase orders and documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of stock receipts, transfers, issues, and returns.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile findings with inventory management records.
- Monitor stock levels to identify shortages, excesses, damaged, or expired products promptly.
- Prepare periodic inventory reports and submit them to management for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise proper documentation and physical filing of all inventory records.
- Collaborate closely with Accounts, Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to guarantee accurate stock data.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure all products are properly stored, labeled, and arranged for easy identification and retrieval.
- Support full compliance with company inventory control policies and safety procedures.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant post-NYSC experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations.
- Working experience in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, agricultural, or manufacturing sector is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and strong communication abilities.
- Must be ready and willing to reside in or relocate to Ibadan.
