About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee stock management across our electronics retail operations in Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock movement, and implementing effective controls to prevent losses and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all stock received, sold, transferred, returned, or damaged.
- Receive and verify incoming electronics products against supplier invoices and delivery documents.
- Monitor stock levels across multiple branches and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Track and document inter-branch stock transfers meticulously.
- Identify and investigate stock shortages, excesses, damages, and operational discrepancies.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete products to optimize inventory turnover.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Collaborate with the Accountant and Branch Managers to reconcile inventory and sales data.
- Implement robust measures to reduce stock shrinkage, theft, damages, and revenue leakage.
- Support internal and external inventory audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse, or retail operations.
- Prior experience in the electronics sector or multi-branch retail environment is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
