About the Role
Dangote Sugar Refinery (DSR) Numan is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Inventory Manager to oversee our stock levels, coordinate procurement, and optimize storage facilities. In this vital role, you will manage the entire supply cycle, monitor finished sugar and molasses stock, and supervise weighbridge functions for both cane and finished products. Key Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership within the material management department by supervising, hiring, and training warehouse staff and inventory clerks.
- Review daily purchase requisitions to verify quantities, specifications, estimated costs, and budget compliance.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying overstock situations and optimizing reorder points and inventory control.
- Conduct comprehensive stock planning, forecasting, auditing, and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stock counts.
- Oversee warehouse and storage operations to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Science or Engineering.
- Relevant professional supply chain or inventory management certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on inventory management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in people management, negotiation, project management, and conflict resolution.
