About the Role

Upbeat Centre, West Africa's leading trampoline park and recreation destination in Lekki, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and analytical Inventory Executive to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of stock management, tracking inventory levels, and optimizing order processes to ensure that all sports equipment, merchandise, and operational supplies are readily available for our world-class programs, wellness activities, and corporate events. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock for all recreational programs, retail products, and services.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies or shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to forecast inventory needs and effectively plan for seasonal demands and high-traffic periods.
  • Process inventory purchase orders, track incoming shipments, and meticulously verify the quality and accuracy of received goods.
  • Implement and maintain modern inventory management software for efficient real-time tracking, reporting, and reordering.
  • Analyze inventory performance metrics to identify trends, reduce waste, and discover areas for operational improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on inventory status, including turnover rates, shrinkage, and current stock levels, to senior management.
  • Develop and enforce robust inventory management policies and procedures to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and support internal staff on inventory management best practices and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail to manage complex stock data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in modern inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills to successfully collaborate with various internal departments.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative in proactive problem-solving.
