About the Role
Rovingheights is a socially minded bookstore dedicated to bringing quality books to our customers while enriching the reading culture in Nigeria through literacy programs and vibrant community engagement. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Bookstore Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Oniru location in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding books, stationery, and other retail products.
- Attend to customer enquiries promptly and provide thoughtful, engaging reading recommendations.
- Support day-to-day sales transactions, store operations, and cash handling.
- Arrange, shelve, and properly merchandise books to maintain an attractive store layout.
- Ensure that all assigned sections and shelves remain clean, orderly, and presentable.
- Assist with routine stock checks, inventory audits, and incoming shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service and support store goals.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while remaining organized and responsible.
- Genuine interest in books, literature, and promoting a vibrant reading culture.
- Must reside on Lagos Island or within close proximity to Victoria Island and Oniru due to shift requirements.
- Availability to work a five-day weekly schedule, which strictly includes Saturdays and Sundays plus three rotating weekdays.
