About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and support our growing operations in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, verify, and reconcile inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure accurate tracking of goods received and dispatched.
- Perform month-end inventory valuation, variance analysis, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to minimize stock shrinkage, discrepancies, and operational risks.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory accounting, auditing, or general financial accounting.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or progress towards completion is a strong advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and high numerical accuracy.
