About the Role
De Tastee Group, a leading quick service restaurant and hospitality outfit, is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Internal Security Officer to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across our facilities, protecting our guests, employees, and company assets with the highest level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol and monitor assigned restaurant areas regularly, reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches to management and local authorities.
- Monitor live surveillance cameras, inspect property grounds, and manage crowd control during peak business hours.
- Contact law enforcement, medical services, or the fire department immediately in the event of an emergency.
- Conduct thorough security checks of doors, windows, and perimeter gates after business hours to ensure the property is fully secure.
- Investigate reports of suspicious activities, disturbances, or safety hazards on company property.
- Reasonably detain individuals suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives, adhering strictly to safety and legal protocols.
- Escort discharged staff, trespassers, and unwelcome parties off the premises professionally and firmly.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent certification in security management or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or quick service restaurant industry.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to respond calmly and decisively during emergencies.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and customers.
- Basic knowledge of local security laws, emergency procedures, and surveillance equipment operation.
