In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering standardization, ensuring consistency across business processes, and maintaining a robust internal control environment that supports our overarching organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver timely, accurate reporting on the internal control framework and highlight any control deficiencies.
- Actively engage and collaborate with both internal and external auditors to ensure prompt resolution of all relevant audit findings.
- Spot, assess, and address operational risks, translating findings into comprehensive impact analyses for management review.
- Evaluate and align current organizational procedures to achieve set operational objectives and drive continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with various departments to implement cutting-edge strategies that safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting from a recognized institution.
- Possession of an ICAN qualification will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical internal control or accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically gained within a manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with established internal control frameworks.
- Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fully computer literate with advanced proficiency in navigating the Microsoft Office Suite.
