We are currently recruiting a proactive and analytical Internal Control Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in strengthening our internal control frameworks, mitigating operational risks, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards to drive sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily reconciliation of sales transactions against bank inflows to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor the effective utilization of company assets and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts, reconcile with system records, and thoroughly investigate variances.
- Monitor material consumption against Bills of Materials (BOM) to identify shortages, wastage, or pilferage.
- Review procurement and administrative transactions to minimize wastage and financial leakages.
- Identify operational and financial risks proactively and recommend appropriate preventive controls.
- Execute regular control and sanity checks, delivering accurate and timely reports to management.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA is an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the Manufacturing, Poultry, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust communication abilities.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
