About the Role
Fastest Cakes was birthed with the vision of delivering awesome and affordable cakes very fast. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Internal Control and Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Gwarinpa. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our inventory assets, ensuring seamless stock management, and supporting our continuous production goals while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Recording accurate inventory values in real time to ensure transparency across all operations
- Controlling and maintaining adequate inventory levels to support daily production needs
- Overseeing the orderly arrangement of goods and supervising the offloading of inventory by suppliers
- Cross-checking the accuracy of purchase orders supplied against physical deliveries
- Creating accurate stock transfers where necessary between facilities
- Maintaining proper records and documentation, including receipts and invoices
- Collaborating with procurement managers to prepare precise purchase orders
- Ensuring that each production facility is never low on essential inventory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field
- Must reside in or near Gwarinpa, Abuja, for easy commute
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Sound knowledge of procurement processes and stock management best practices
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Capacity to perform duties diligently, particularly during high-pressure or stressful situations
- Flexibility to work on some Sundays and public holidays as business needs require
