About the Role
Bukka Hospitality Limited, renowned for trading as Bukka Hut, is a premier fast-food restaurant chain dedicated to serving exceptional Nigerian cuisine in a clean and comfortable environment. Established in 2011 with multiple outlets across Lagos, we are committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. We are currently looking for a qualified and dedicated Internal Auditor to join our growing team in Lagos and help safeguard our financial and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive internal audits of financial, operational, and administrative processes to ensure strict compliance with company policies.
- Develop risk-based audit plans and execute rigorous testing to identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, or irregularities.
- Document audit findings clearly and prepare concise reports with actionable recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track the implementation of corrective actions and effective risk management strategies.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks and keep abreast of relevant industry regulations.
- Perform ad-hoc reviews and special investigations as directed by executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in internal auditing, ideally within the hospitality, retail, or quick-service restaurant sector.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control evaluation techniques.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIA, ACA, or ACCA will be a distinct advantage.
