About the Role

In this vital role based at Bourdillon Hotel & Apartment Hotel in Lugbe, Abuja, you will safeguard our financial integrity, mitigate operational risks, and ensure uncompromising compliance across all hospitality departments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily comprehensive audits of sales, stocks, inventories, and accounting records across all hotel outlets.
- Verify daily revenue reports from Front Office, POS systems, bank deposits, and cash handling procedures.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems to prevent revenue leakage, theft, and fraud.
- Maintain an up-to-date database for food and beverage inventory and conduct periodic physical asset checks.
- Examine recurring and non-recurring expenditures, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, statutory requirements, and federal financial regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present actionable recommendations to upper management for corrective action.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional auditing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in financial management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a zero-tolerance approach to unreviewed transactions and income leakages.
