About the Role
The Center for Comprehensive Promotion of Reproductive Health (CCPRH) is seeking a competent, experienced, and detail-oresnted Internal Auditor to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of financial controls, operational processes, compliance systems, and risk management practices within our donor-funded and programme-based organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct periodic internal audits of financial, administrative, procurement, and programmatic activities.
- Review transactions and expenditures to ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential financial or operational risks and fraud indicators.
- Prepare comprehensive internal audit reports featuring actionable recommendations and risk ratings.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and previously agreed audit findings.
- Support management in preparing for statutory, external, and donor-specific audits.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting or auditing qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant internal audit, compliance, or financial review experience.
- Demonstrated background working within NGOs, development organizations, or donor-funded projects.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills combined with high integrity and attention to detail.
