We are currently looking to hire a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven Financial Analyst to strengthen our finance team and support our continued growth within the Nigerian microfinance sector.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex financial data, emerging market trends, and investment opportunities to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, detailed forecasts, annual budgets, and investment performance reviews.
- Conduct robust financial modeling, company valuations, and thorough risk assessments.
- Monitor financial markets continuously and evaluate various investment products alongside portfolio performance.
- Provide actionable insights and conduct investment research to guide executive-level investment strategies.
- Prepare periodic management reports and present clear analytical findings to the executive leadership team.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Central Bank of Nigeria regulations, internal bank policies, and financial reporting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven, relevant work experience within a finance house, microfinance bank, or broader financial services institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within the Nigerian financial services sector.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
