About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the Nigerian pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, is seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team. Known for trusted household brands such as Vitaclox, Vitacillin, and Inbu, we operate an ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our financial integrity, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance across our manufacturing and operational locations in Lagos and Ogun states.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive risk-based audit plans covering financial, operational, compliance, and manufacturing processes across all company locations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks to mitigate potential operational and financial risks.
- Ensure stringent compliance with statutory regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal company policies.
- Prepare clear, detailed audit reports, communicate findings to management, and track the remediation of identified control weaknesses.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and management to foster a robust control environment and promote best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA are required.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in internal or external audit within manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, internal control systems, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools, complemented by exceptional investigative and report-writing skills.
