About the Role
Lily Hospitals Limited, a leading multi-specialty private healthcare provider in Nigeria committed to delivering world-class medical services, is seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Audit Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening our internal control environment, assessing business risks, and supporting exceptional organizational governance to ensure our continued delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and lead comprehensive operational, financial, and compliance audits across various hospital departments.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical, value-added solutions to operational challenges.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present clear findings and recommendations to management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Evaluate compliance with applicable Nigerian healthcare laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and actively contribute to the development of the annual audit plan.
- Provide expert advisory support on internal controls, governance, and business process improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management.
- Compulsory possession of recognized professional certifications such as ICAN, CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CISA.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, internal control frameworks, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
