About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading Cocoa Processing Factory in Akure, Ondo State, and an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, one of Nigeria's largest cocoa exporters. We are seeking ambitious, analytical, and driven graduates for our Graduate Trainee - Finance & Business programme. Key Responsibilities- Participate in structured departmental rotations across finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and commercial export operations.
- Assist with financial accounting, cost and management accounting, budgeting, and internal control processes.
- Analyze variance reports, financial data, and business metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the plant floor to understand the financial impact of manufacturing operations.
- Manage a defined project with measurable outcomes and present findings to senior management before programme completion.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC or be currently serving with a clear completion date.
- Not more than two to three years of post-NYSC experience.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to be based in Akure, Ondo State, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated qualities of curiosity, ownership, rigour, practicality, and integrity.
