About the Role
Proforce Limited, a leading total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and personal protection, is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Internal Audit Manager. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee our internal audit function, evaluate operational processes, and ensure robust risk management within our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute annual risk-based internal audit plans across all business units.
- Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, compliance, and process audits.
- Review and test internal controls, recommending actionable improvements.
- Identify fraud risks, financial leakages, process inefficiencies, and control gaps.
- Audit inventory, procurement, production materials, fixed assets, and company vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with approved budgets, policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present strategic findings to Executive Management.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to drive cost control.
- Support investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or financial irregularities.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Internal Audit team for optimal performance.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant audit experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Prior experience in automobile manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
