About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a meticulous Product Auditor to provide independent assurance over the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of product controls across payments, wallets, and settlements. In this role, you will safeguard the organisation against revenue leakage, settlement failures, and regulatory risks, ensuring our products are deployed securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a comprehensive Product Audit Universe and own the annual risk-based Product Audit Plan.
- Review PRDs, business rules, and transaction workflows to identify logic gaps before production go-live.
- Interrogate the Fee Engine using SQL to mathematically prove complete precision in commissions, VAT, and splits.
- Trace fund flows to confirm continuous synchronisation between wallet sub-ledgers and the General Ledger.
- Execute mandatory pre-production Product Audit reviews as an independent control gate for all material releases.
- Lead post-incident reviews for product failures, producing structured root cause analysis reports.
- Ensure full product logic compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria guidelines, PCI DSS, and consumer protection obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Product Audit, Systems Audit, Financial Data Analytics, or Payment Operations within fintech.
- Advanced SQL skills for independent data extraction and transaction interrogation.
- Deep understanding of payment systems architecture, wallets, card processing, and reconciliation.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CFE, ACA, or ACCA are preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of CBN payment system regulations and PCI DSS compliance.
