About the Role
Transport Services Limited is a fully integrated product handling company delivering value-added logistics and distribution services across Nigeria's oil and gas, FMCG, mining, and agricultural sectors. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Internal Audit Manager to spearhead our audit operations, ensure financial reliability, and strengthen our internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations and financial reliability.
- Determine internal audit scope and develop comprehensive annual audit plans.
- Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, and data flowcharts.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports that reflect results and document the entire process.
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
- Identify operational loopholes and recommend effective risk aversion measures and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain open communication with executive management and the audit committee.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and remediation progress.
- Bachelor's degree in an accounting- or finance-related field.
- 6 to 7 years of professional experience in Internal Audit and Control, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Active professional membership in ACCA or ICAN.
- Possession of CISA or CIA certification is considered a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in audit planning, advisory, investigations, and advanced computer applications.
