We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and ambitious Pharmacist Intern to join our dynamic team at our Opic Estate location in Ogun State. This exciting internship opportunity is designed to provide you with hands-on exposure to clinical pharmacy practice, inventory management, customer engagement, and retail pharmacy operations while supporting sales growth and service excellence in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support prescription review and assist in patient counselling under supervision to ensure safe and appropriate medication use.
- Assist in organising and maintaining the pharmacy layout for easy identification of drugs, medical devices, and sundries.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, shelf arrangement, and rigorous expiry date tracking.
- Assist in the delivery and promotion of specialized pharmacy services, including basic health checks and patient health education.
- Engage customers professionally to support high service quality, customer satisfaction, and retail sales initiatives.
- Support compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional pharmacy practice standards set by relevant authorities.
- Participate in continuous learning activities, team meetings, and professional development within the broader pharmacy team.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid provisional or full license to practice as a pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and modern pharmacy information systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, high attention to detail, and a patient-centred mindset.
- Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
- Competitive monthly stipend of NGN 150,000.
