Ecologique Transport Solutions Limited is a leading logistics and transportation company committed to providing reliable, efficient, and customer-focused transport solutions across Nigeria. We specialize in safe cargo movement, fleet management, and innovative logistics services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Insurance Desk Officer to oversee our corporate insurance portfolio and manage risk mitigation strategies at our Wasinmi, Ewekoro facility in Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain meticulous records of all corporate insurance policies and ensure proactive, timely renewals before expiration dates.
- Coordinate comprehensive insurance coverage for company trucks, trailers, operational vehicles, employees, and physical assets.
- Manage end-to-end processing and follow-up for accident, theft, damage, and third-party insurance claims efficiently.
- Liaise professionally with insurance underwriters, brokers, assessors, mechanical workshops, law enforcement, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure prompt and accurate submission of all required documentation to accelerate claim approvals and settlements.
- Monitor outstanding claims closely and provide regular, structured updates to senior management.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant insurance policies and statutory regulatory requirements across operations.
- Identify potential gaps in existing insurance coverage and proactively escalate concerns to management.
- Prepare comprehensive insurance and claims reports detailing financial impact, loss ratios, and risk trends.
- Maintain secure, accurate, and highly confidential records of all insurance portfolios.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in insurance administration or risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in motor, asset, or fleet insurance and complex claims management is a distinct advantage.
- Professional certification or active student membership with the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
