About the Role
Dangote Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation Manager to join our dynamic team at Dangote Cement Plc in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee all execution and maintenance activities regarding installed Control and Instrumentation systems within our gas turbine-based power plant, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and circuitry in gas turbine power plants.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in accordance with OEM recommendations.
- Ensure timely procurement of necessary maintenance spares and equipment.
- Enforce strict safety, health, and housekeeping standards during all maintenance operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and drive skill enhancement among technical personnel and subordinates.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot complex DCS systems, and generate comprehensive technical reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience in a gas turbine-based power plant.
- Deep understanding of DCS systems, turbine controls, Governor control, and Fire and Gas Detection systems.
- Strong knowledge of international instrumentation philosophies, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
