About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited specializes in providing customized solutions to companies operating in the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. Our core service offerings include marine solutions, skilled manpower, technical services, advanced engineering design, and laser scanning. We are currently looking for a talented Instrumentation Design Engineer to contribute to our growing technical services division in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive instrumentation and control system designs for offshore and onshore oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including P&IDs, instrument index, loop diagrams, cause and effect charts, and hook-up drawings.
- Specify and select instruments such as flow, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters, as well as control valves and safety shutdown systems.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with international codes, industry standards, and statutory Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Review vendor documentation and participate in technical bid evaluations for instrumentation packages.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in instrumentation design within the oil, gas, petrochemical, or maritime industries.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of international design codes and standards such as ISA, IEC, and API.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
