About the Role
SPIE Global Services Energy is a global leader in technical expertise for the oil and gas industry, dedicated to addressing complex operational challenges. We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument & PLC Supervisor to join our dynamic workforce in Nigeria, playing a vital role in maintaining the availability and integrity of our critical plant systems.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate control, authorization verification, and integrity of all ICSS software and hardware in coordination with the COMPANY ICSS Engineer.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and condition monitoring for ICSS, PLCs, and power generation plant equipment.
- Organize on-site maintenance operations while strictly adhering to company HSE regulations, work permit procedures, and industry standards.
- Manage interventions, notifications, and work orders efficiently using the CMIMS SAP R3 system.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians, fostering continuous knowledge transfer and professional development.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of gas turbines and auxiliary systems within oil and gas or power generation plants.
- Demonstrated expertise in DCS, ESD, F&G, Field Bus, PLCs, Bently Nevada condition monitoring, and SAP PM modules.
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience managing small technical teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical blueprints.
