About the Role
Wentworth Schools, a reputable private educational institution located in Ikotun, Lagos State, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Hardware and GSM Repairs Instructor. In this role, you will play a vital part in equipping our students with essential technical and vocational skills needed for the modern job market, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive practical and theoretical lessons on computer hardware assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Teach students step-by-step procedures for diagnosing and repairing various GSM mobile phone models.
- Develop and update lesson plans, training manuals, and practical assessment tasks in line with current industry standards.
- Supervise students during practical workshop sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper tool handling.
- Assess student progress, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain and manage the computer laboratory and repair tools to ensure optimal working conditions.
- Relevant vocational certifications, diploma, or degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in computer hardware maintenance and mobile phone (GSM) repairs.
- Prior teaching or training experience in a school or vocational center is a strong advantage.
- Must reside within or near Ijegun, Ikotun, and Isheri areas of Lagos State.
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
