About the Role
Payzeep is a leading financial technology platform empowering individuals, SMEs, and organizations to seamlessly make, receive, and process payments. We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer (Windows/Linux Engineer) to design, implement, and maintain our rapidly growing on-premise and cloud infrastructure. In this vital role, you will ensure the high availability, scalability, robust security, and peak performance of our digital financial services, payment gateways, and internal applications while meeting strict regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtual machines, and hybrid environments.
- Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, File Services, and Identity Management solutions.
- Support cloud infrastructure deployments and optimize resource utilization across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop, maintain, and test robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Implement server-hardening standards, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration baselines to support security audits.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks, deployments, and configuration management using scripting tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure support, performing root-cause analysis for escalated technical incidents.
- Monitor infrastructure performance continuously and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of total relevant experience in IT infrastructure administration.
- 6+ years of specialized experience managing server infrastructure in fintech, banking, or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in both Windows Server and Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Rocky Linux).
- Relevant professional certifications such as RHCE, MCSE, or cloud platform credentials are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting automation, patch management, enterprise storage systems, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
