About the Role
SANY Nigeria Company Limited, a prominent global leader in construction, earthmoving, and mining equipment, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Information Technology Specialist. In this crucial onsite role, you will be the primary technical resource responsible for maintaining our robust technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless hardware operations, and overseeing comprehensive surveillance systems to support our fast-growing business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, peripherals, and essential network devices.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware components including drives, memory modules, power supplies, screens, and printers.
- Manage, configure, and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance infrastructure, including cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and associated storage networks.
- Perform routine system health checks, preventive maintenance, and coordinate necessary technical repairs promptly.
- Support LAN, Wi-Fi networks, structured cabling, and optimize overall connectivity across the organization.
- Supervise infrastructure deployments and effectively coordinate third-party vendors, OEMs, and local contractors.
- Manage warranty claims, service-level agreements, contractor performance, and maintain accurate IT asset registers and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of hands-on professional experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 support, and IP surveillance systems management.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi configurations, and structured cabling principles.
- Willingness to work fully onsite at our facility located in Ibafo, Ogun State.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MTCNA, or specialized CCTV certifications are a distinct advantage.
- Mandarin language proficiency will be considered a valuable added bonus.
