About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our world-class team and maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and clinical governance across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate the hospital-wide infection control program and policies in compliance with national and international standards.
- Conduct regular surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and investigate outbreaks promptly.
- Provide continuous education and training for clinical and non-clinical staff regarding standard precautions, hand hygiene, and aseptic techniques.
- Monitor sterilization processes, waste management protocols, and environmental cleanliness throughout the hospital.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to audit practices and recommend evidence-based improvements.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive surveillance reports, and liaise with public health authorities when necessary.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Post-basic certification in Infection Control or relevant specialized training is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with specific focus in infection prevention and control within a tertiary hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, and healthcare safety standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
