About the Role
Join Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited as an Industrial Plumber and play a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure of our state-of-the-art cassava processing facility. We transform cassava into premium products including Venus Cassava edible starch and cassava offals for food manufacturing, livestock feed production, and organic farming sectors. As an Industrial Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing and utility systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair industrial piping and plumbing systems throughout the facility
- Monitor and service water supply, drainage systems, pumps, valves, and utility lines
- Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, pressure irregularities, and system faults
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and corrective repairs
- Assist with installation and modification of piping systems to meet operational requirements
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards
- Minimum OND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing or related field
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience as an Industrial Plumber in manufacturing or processing environments
- Proficient knowledge of pumps, valves, tanks, fittings, and piping systems
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from piping layouts and technical drawings
- Excellent pipe fitting, joining, and installation skills
- Demonstrated welding, fabrication, and pipe-support installation capabilities
- Experience in agro-processing or food manufacturing is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of compressed air, hot-water, steam, and industrial drainage systems preferred
