About the Role
Hobark International Limited (HIL) is a premier provider of services to the global oil and gas industry, delivering operational excellence through our diverse subsidiaries. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Operations Readiness & Assurance (OR&A) Advisor to join our JVO Offshore Asset team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will champion operational integrity, ensuring that complex offshore projects transition smoothly from the construction phase into safe, reliable, and efficient commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all Operations Readiness & Assurance, commissioning, and start-up activities for the JVO Offshore Asset.
- Ensure full compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate quality management systems.
- Lead and facilitate critical safety reviews, including HAZID, HAZOP, and pre-start-up safety reviews.
- Manage project execution, construction testing, inspection, turnover, and final handover processes.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, and Project disciplines.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and mentor junior staff to foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Oil & Gas production operations and/or maintenance.
- Demonstrated expertise in hydrocarbon production, commissioning, and OR&A frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of project handover procedures, international engineering standards, and statutory regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, technical writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
