We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Industrial Hygienist to join our dynamic team and champion workforce health and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in actions for identifying and minimizing health risks and the impact of activities on personnel health.
- Contribute to developing, drafting, and reviewing reference documents, rules, specifications, and procedures.
- Conduct area and personnel exposure assessment and monitoring in company locations.
- Ensure appropriate statutory authorizations from regulatory bodies such as NNRA and DPR are obtained.
- Investigate industrial hygiene issues and complaints, providing timely reporting of findings.
- Participate in Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessments (IHRA) and follow up on the implementation of mitigating actions.
- Maintain compliance with international, national, and local standards including DPR, FMENV, ISO 18001, OSHA, and ACGIH.
- Advise line management on industrial hygiene issues and associated occupational health hazards.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Occupational Health, Hygiene, or Applied Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial hygiene experience, with at least 1 year in a similar position within the oil and gas industry.
- Good knowledge of industrial hygiene standards, guidelines, and monitoring equipment.
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
