We are currently looking for a skilled Incident Management & Response Specialist to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the management of cybersecurity incidents from initial detection through complete resolution.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations to determine root causes and assess business impact.
- Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities during active security incidents.
- Monitor security events continuously and ensure the timely escalation of high-risk incidents.
- Serve as the central point of coordination during major security crises and incidents.
- Prepare comprehensive incident reports, executive management updates, and post-incident reviews.
- Recommend enhancements to existing incident management procedures and response capabilities.
- Support tabletop exercises, simulations, and overall incident response readiness activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, or Cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience handling cybersecurity incidents within a complex technology environment.
- Strong understanding of threat detection, security monitoring, and incident handling processes.
- Knowledge of industry frameworks and best practices for incident response.
- Relevant professional certifications such as GCIH, CISSP, CEH, or CISM will be a distinct advantage.
