About the Role
DM Holdings, a leading conglomerate in the entertainment and media sector, is seeking a skilled and dedicated In-house Electronic Technician to support our state-of-the-art facilities in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical electronic equipment across our studios and offices, ensuring seamless media production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, maintain, and repair electronic equipment used in recording and broadcast production studios.
- Conduct routine inspections on studio hardware including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, monitors, speakers, and intercom systems.
- Ensure all technical gear is fully operational before, during, and after live recordings, shoots, and production sessions.
- Diagnose complex electrical and electronic faults promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Assist technical and production crews during active studio sessions and media projects.
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all company electronics.
- Perform other assigned technical duties to support the broader media operations.
- OND, HND, B.Sc., or B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electronic Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on technical experience in electronics maintenance and repair.
- Proven practical experience in troubleshooting audio-visual and studio production equipment.
- Relevant technical certifications or formal apprenticeship training will be a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure during live productions.
