About the Role

IV Medics & Diagnostic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-House Doctor (Medical Officer) to join our growing healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered clinical care, manage acute medical situations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical excellence and safety in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care, thorough consultations, and personalized treatment plans for outpatients and inpatients.
  • Manage common medical conditions effectively and provide prompt intervention during medical emergencies.
  • Request, analyze, and interpret relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic and physical medical records.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of clinical protocols, quality assurance programs, and rotational on-call duties.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Must possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a distinct added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a recognized hospital or medical center.
  • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Possession of a valid and current MDCN practising licence.
  • Successful completion of housemanship and the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, or possession of an official exemption certificate.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a passion for exceptional patient care.
