About the Role

Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a results-driven Implementation Officer to join our team in Ogun State (covering Abeokuta South, Obafemi/Owode, and Shagamu). In this role, you will ensure new retail customers successfully adopt the Moniebook POS into their daily store operations through structured, high-touch onboarding experiences. You will bridge the gap between sales and long-term customer success, transforming newly signed clients into confident, active users within their first 30 to 60 days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute tailored onboarding plans that guide customers from initial signup to full operational usage with clear milestones and success metrics.
  • Guide retail customers through initial Moniebook POS setup, configuration, and workflow optimization.
  • Conduct engaging live training sessions, both one-on-one and in groups, to educate retail staff on core features and operational best practices.
  • Monitor customer usage data, transaction volumes, and feature adoption to proactively identify at-risk accounts and intervene with targeted support.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, providing responsive, empathetic, and solutions-oriented customer service.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, manage escalations, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to resolve challenges quickly.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM platforms and execute seamless handoffs to Account Managers upon onboarding completion.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in customer onboarding, customer success, implementation, or account management within SaaS, retail tech, or POS industries.
  • Must have completed the NYSC program or possess a valid exemption or exclusion certificate.
  • Must be currently based in Ogun State, specifically around Abeokuta South, Obafemi/Owode, or Shagamu.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to train diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, paired with a customer-first mindset and high attention to detail.
  • A bachelor degree in Business, Technology, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.
