About the Role

As an Implementation Officer at Moniepoint Inc., you'll serve as the primary guide for newly signed retail customers during their critical early adoption phase with Moniebook POS. This role bridges sales and long-term customer success by transforming customers into confident, active users who derive maximum value from our platform. You'll be responsible for understanding each retailer's unique operational needs, configuring solutions to fit their workflow, delivering effective training, and driving adoption that sets the foundation for retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute tailored onboarding plans with clear milestones, timelines, and success metrics for each customer journey
  • Guide customers through Moniebook POS setup and configuration tailored to their retail operations
  • Conduct engaging training sessions (one-on-one and group) for retail staff on core features, best practices, and workflows
  • Monitor usage data, transaction volumes, and feature adoption; proactively intervene with at-risk customers
  • Build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, providing responsive and empathetic support
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems while maintaining customer communication
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and document best practices to improve onboarding resources
  • Execute smooth handoffs to Account Managers with detailed context on customer goals and usage patterns
  • Capture and share customer feedback with Product and management teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years in customer onboarding, customer success, implementation, or account management (SaaS, retail technology, or POS systems preferred)
  • Completed NYSC or possess valid exemption/exclusion certificate
  • Proven track record of successful software platform onboarding and product adoption
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to train diverse audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Customer-first mindset with genuine passion for exceptional experiences
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and technically comfortable with software tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be based in Anambra (Idemili North, Nnewi North, Oyi, Ogbaru, Aguata, or Onitsha North)
