About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited is Nigeria's premier Payments and Financial Technology company, founded in 1997 by a consortium of leading Nigerian banks. We operate as a shared infrastructure for the banking community and a trusted Payments Service Provider, driven by a vision to be Africa's most preferred e-payment service provider. We are looking for a dedicated Implementation Engineer to analyze user requirements, manage technical implementations, and ensure the seamless delivery of our innovative payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze new user and solution requirements to develop aligned technical implementations within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Manage product backlogs, document user stories, and define functional requirements for system integrations.
- Provide second-level technical support for POS applications, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, 3DS servers, and KYC platforms.
- Lead end-to-end testing, validation, and deployment of PTSA solutions for merchant integration.
- Monitor terminal performance, track system downtimes to maintain 99.9% service availability, and resolve service issues promptly.
- Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports through thorough data analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all deployed platforms.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams while mentoring junior staff to drive continuous improvement and service reliability.
- First Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in software development, system integration, or application support.
- Strong understanding of key technical concepts in IT, electronic payments, and digital services.
- Programming knowledge, strong analytical skills, business analysis, and project management expertise are distinct advantages.
