About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited (UP), Nigeria's premier financial technology company founded in 1997, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Implementation Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering cutting-edge electronic payment solutions, managing ecommerce platforms, and ensuring seamless technical integrations for our diverse merchant network across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end merchant integration of the Payment Gateway and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
- Oversee ecommerce platforms, services including 3DS Server, EMVCo 3DS card authentication, online marketplaces, and KYC verification platforms.
- Analyze user requirements, document Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and write functional requirements.
- Provide reliable second-level support for ecommerce applications and conduct root-cause analysis for failed transactions within SLA terms.
- Collaborate with developers to scope implementation requirements, test APIs using Postman, and manage product backlogs.
- Handle the renewal of certificates for web-facing services and document system incidents and issue resolutions.
- Test and deploy software fixes, updates, and new product features.
- First Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in software development, system integration, or application support roles.
- Strong understanding of IT technical concepts, electronic payments, and digital services.
- Proficiency in requirement analysis, SQL, APIs, Web services (JSON, XML, Web hooks), and Postman tool usage.
