Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a systematic impact story collection framework spanning online and physical delivery streams, individual and cluster participation models, and diverse target sectors.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and fieldwork with participants, facilitators, and partners across Nigeria to gather evidence-based impact narratives.
  • Develop cluster transformation stories documenting how sector-based groups in fashion, food, agriculture, and other industries have grown and accessed new markets.
  • Write high-quality impact case studies, human interest stories, and programme profiles for funder reports, publications, and advocacy materials.
  • Produce multimedia impact content including short video profiles, audio testimonials, photo essays, and social media assets in collaboration with communications.
  • Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to ensure qualitative impact stories complement and contextualise quantitative data.
  • Ensure all impact documentation adheres strictly to informed consent, safeguarding, data protection, and ethical storytelling standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in impact documentation, journalism, or storytelling within a development, NGO, or social enterprise context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing impact case studies across digital contexts and field-based community settings.
  • Proficiency in multimedia content production, including basic video, photography, and audio recording.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in major Nigerian languages (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo) is a distinct advantage for field documentation.
  • Deep commitment to ethical storytelling, participant dignity, and the responsible representation of vulnerable populations.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with industry standards.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a prestigious academic and development institution.
  • Meaningful work directly contributing to women's enterprise development and national economic growth in Nigeria.
